Additional Chief Medical & Health Officer of Dima Hasao Stresses on Creating Awareness on Rubella Vaccination

Haflong: The MR campaign will be launched in the district of Dima Hasao on August 17 as disclosed Dr M Changsan, Additional Chief Medical & Health Officer (FW), & i/c DIO, Dima Hasao at a press meet in Haflong on Friday. Dr Changsan while appealing the media to create awareness among the masses in regards to Rubella vaccine said that India has launched one of the world’s largest vaccination campaign against measles, a major childhood killer disease, and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS), responsible for irreversible birth defects.
