BORDUMSA, July 4: Rendering a tight administrative slap upon the various political parties and NGOs pitching their political agenda intensively much ahead of Legislative Assembly Election here in 49th Bordumsa-Diyun Constituency in Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Bordumsa Subdivision exercising his judicial power has issued an order putting restrictions upon the parties concerned in conducting any meetings across Bordumsa Circle.

The order issued to the effect vide B/JUD-02-2017-18/524-594 dated July 2 categorically reads “some political parties, NGOs, associations and unions are conducting meetings, rallies in Bordumsa circle without permission from the ADC Bordumsa” adding “such meetings and rallies are likely to violate the peaceful atmosphere of this circle and likely to affect the law and order situation of the circle sometimes leading to traffic problems and damage to public property.”

The order though without quoting any appropriate section to this effect has further made it mandatory on the part of the interested parties to obtain permission from the competent authority at least 5 days prior to holding any meeting or rally so that the administrative machinery may initiate and provide security arrangement to thwart any untoward design and situation as the case may be arising out of any unpleasant situations thereby for common good and overall peace in the area.

It may be pertinent to add here that the said general Assembly constituency has become one of the hot bed in the Arunachal Pradesh wherein various heavyweight contenders, ironically almost all under the saffron umbrella, have been reportedly pushing hard to build confidence among the voters in the constituency through different formats including meetings and rallies to realize their political end in the next Assembly election slated in 2019.

‘Even the BJP State President Tapir Gao and the Chief Minister Pema Khandu has already smelt the rat among the party leaders and has earlier directed the party high command to decide and declare their party candidate for the same much ahead of the assembly election to overcome the existing tug of war among the self portrayed candidates ‘, informed one of the BJP high voltage candidates already in the row.
