AFA suspend 21 players

GUWAHATI, Feb 3: Assam Football Association suspended 21 players who didn’t turn out to attend the Santosh Trophy camp. The secretary of the Assam Football Association Ankur Dutta informed the media that all the players failed to participate in the camp without proper intimation and they will not be able to participate in recognized tourment for the next six months. However all the suspended players would get the opportunity to appeal against their ban by submitting valid reason for absence in the camp by February 20.
