Agar, chandan sapling plantation programme

Silchar, June 30: Members of Lions Club of Silchar Vision headed by Syamali Kar Bhowal of the Department of English Gurucharan College, Silchar along with Shauvik Das Choudhury, director of Jana Shikshan Sangstha, Silchar, organized a sapling plantation programme and planted saplings of two precious trees, Chandan and Agar, at the hilltop of Sundari Mohan Seva Bhawan, Silchar, Friday. Among others present during the sapling plantation programme included advocate Dipak Chakraborty, renowned physician Dr Kumar Kanti Das, Devdas Acharjee, honorary administrative officer, Sundari Mohan Seva Bhawan, Priyabrata Dhar, president, Sundari Mohan Memorial Trust.
