AGP Dibrugarh committee vows to enliven regiolism

Dibrugarh, May 27: The Dibrugarh District Committee of Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) has vowed to work earnestly in order to enliven regiolism by strictly upholding the basic principles and maxim of the BJP-led NDA government. The district committee AGP hoped that all the constituent groups in the government would extend their help and cooperation and work cohesively for the overall development of the State. The spokesperson of the AGP and retired Director General of Police (DGP) , Dilip Bora while addressing a meeting here at party office on Friday, hoped that the new Chief Minister, Sarbanda Sonowal and his team would certainly fulfill the aspirations of all sections of people in the State. “The new government under the able stewardship of BJP’s Sarbanda Sonowal will solve the burning problems of the State soon,” Bora asserted. He also called upon AGP workers and office bearers to work dedicatedly for the forthcoming panchayat election. The meeting chaired by District AGP president Pokon Baruah, was also graced by secretary, Putul Sonowal, central committee member Dr Kamini Ranjan Baruah, former secretary , Dipak Saikia and senior members of the party, Tarath Buragohain, Sasanka Neog, Karu Hazarika, Lokeswar Gogoi and Porag Jyoti Baruah. Speakers who addressed the meeting in their respective speeches offered their thanks and gratitude to electorates of the district.
