All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Organize Street Play Against Ragging

GUWAHATI, Aug 10: In an effort to highlight the hazards of ragging, the Gauhati University unit of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), in collaboration with the University Law College, staged a street play on the University premises on Friday. The objective of the play was to get a strong message across among colleges and universities of the State about the dangers of ragging, a release said. Alongside the performance, AASU, GU unit president Nirupam Koch said, “There’ve been instances where the newcomers are humiliated by seniors in the name of ragging.”
