Amit Shah wins from Gandhinagar constituency by a massive margin of more than five lakh votes

New Delhi: BJP national president Amit Shah has secured a remarkable victory over his Congress opponent CJ Chavda. Shah defeated his rival by 511180 votes and with this he marks his capture on the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.

As the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat is one of the most politically prestigious seats in Gujarat, this victory by BJP is remarkable and influencing. Before this, it was the veteran BJP stalwart LK Advani who had won the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat six times and was a consistent representative from the seat for the past five Lok Sabha elections since 1991.
