APCC ridicules PPA's silence
FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT
Itagar, May 24: Raising eyebrows over the repeated claims of BJP state president Tapir Gao that his party will soon install a government in the state; the Aruchal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has questioned the PPA for its stoic silence over the claims.
“The APCC is surprised to see why PPA is silent over the repeated statements of BJP state president claiming to form a government in the state. This shows that the APCC’s assertion of BJP being behind the scene in toppling the bam Tuki led Congress government in the state is true,” APPC general secretary Minkir Lollen said in a statement here today.
“Since the very beginning Prime Minister rendra Modi and MoS for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju were supporting Kalikho Pul as the chief minister with governor J P Rajkhawa hatching the conspiracy, to which the BJP time and again had denied. But soon after the appointment of Tapir Gao as the BJP state chief, he has been claiming of installing a BJP government which proved their involvement,” Lollen added. The APCC while stating that the PPA, being the lone regiol party of the state is only serving as a transit accommodation for the Pul-led government, further alleged that the PPA party also seemed to be satisfied with the heavy tips regarding the BJP’s claim to form a government in the state which only has 11 elected members.
