Further, the Committee shall also suggest action required to be taken up by the District Administration for resolving the issues on the lines of the discussion held in the coordination meeting held on July 21 at Siang Guest House, Pasighat without further delay.

A release from Adi Students’ Union (AdiSU) said an emergency coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of East Siang DC at Siang Guest House involving all stakeholders including AdiSU members and officials of the university “to resolve the closing down of Apex Professional University, Pasighat by AdiSU with immediate effect from July 19 as there is serious apprehension that the university is being run in violation of University Grants Commission and State Gazette Act, under which it was established in the year 2013”.

The meeting concluded with the formation of fact finding committee, AdiSU said, adding that “all academic activities in the Apex Professional University, Pasighat will remain suspended” till submission of the FFC report.
