APSC scam: Gauhati High Court rejects bail plea of accused Pallabi sharma

GUWAHATI, July 27: The Gauhati High Court has rejected the bail petition filed on behalf of APSC Scam accused Pallabi Sharma on Friday for the second time. Notably, she sought interim bail from the Court to attend his father’s renal transplant surgery.

Earlier too, the District & Sessions Judge Court, Kamrup (M), Guwahati rejected a bail petition filed by BJP Tezpur MP RP Sharma’s wife in the court seeking interim bail for her arrested APS officer daughter. Notably, MP Sharma’s wife appealed for interim bail so as to facilitate the surgery of her husband which is scheduled on July 30 and Pallabi was supposed to donate one of her kidneys.
