Army organizes debate competition

SIVASAGAR, May 6: The Army, as part of Operation Sadbhava, has been undertaking numerous projects for the welfare and uplift of local people in Upper Assam. Continuing with these efforts, an Inter-School Debate Competition was organized for the second time under the aegis of Dao Division by Joysagar Army Camp on Wednesday. Altogether five teams from various schools in Sivasagar district took part in the competition.  The participation and free talk of youth in the competition on topics related to insurgency in Assam showed the desire of youth of Assam to excel and achieve higher goals in life. Winners Sameeksha Kumari of KV, ONGC, zira and Megh Sharma of DPS, zira and runner-ups Anyam of DPS, zira and Jyotishman of DPS, zira were felicitated with prizes.
