Army Vice Chief Devraj Anbu Visits Forward Posts In Sikkim

GUWAHATI: Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Devraj Anbu visited the Trishakti Corps and forward areas of Sikkim from April 17 to 18. On arrival at Sukna, the Vice Chief was briefed by Lt Gen CP Mohanty, GOC Trishakti Corps on the operational preparedness and prevailing situation at the border. Subsequently, Lt Gen Devraj Anbu proceeded to East Sikkim to visit key forward posts, where he interacted with the troops and praised them for their professionalism, commitment and dedication for maintaining round-the-clock vigil in sensitive border areas and upholding the sovereignty of the nation, stated a press release.
