Around 112 school students in Biswanath skipped school when Himanta Biswa Sarma addresses Election Rally

Biswanath: Around 112 school students in Dhuli Tea Estate Lower Primary School under Biswanath District skipped their regular classes on Friday as Assam Finance Minister and NEDA convener Himanta Biswa Sarma addresses election campaign near the school.

Speaking to the The Sentinel Digital, a school staff not willing to be named had informed that due to the installation of loudspeakers and participation of the public in the election rally near the school, it was quite impossible for the teachers to take their regular classes, therefore, the school authority of the Dhuli Tea Estate LP School decided to skip the classes for the day.

On the other hand, NEDA convener Himanta Biswa Sarma addressing the public gathering in the election campaign in Biswanath promise to provide school uniforms to the all the students in all the sectors of Tea Estate in Assam. He further promised to provide free textbooks and free education to the school students once they register their names in the LP school in their respective regions.
