GUWAHATI, March 30: Aruchal Pradesh emerged champion in the 3rd NE Karate championship which was concluded at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor stadium last night. Aruchal Pradesh altogether collected 62 medals that included 30 Gold, 22 Silver and 10 Bronze. Host Assam finished second with 15 Gold, 17 Silver and 41 Bronze medals. Altogether 324 participants from 7 states took part in the 2-day championship.
