Aruchalee wrestler threatens to represent different state

Itagar, May 5: Aruchalee wrestler Dada Riba who has won plenty of medals from various tiol or Intertiol Championship for Aruchal has threatened to play for another state if the state government continues to neglect him and his achievement in future.

Speaking to Aruchal Olympic Association (AOA) Joint Secretary, Daniel Teli after recently winning bronze for the state in the under 50 Kg category at 34th Junior tiol Wrestling Championship held at Ranchi, Jharkhand from April 23 till 26 last, the wrestler has questioned the credentiality and the role of Aruchal Wrestling Association in this respect.

Dada who is currently undergoing training at Army Sports Institute Pune had also won Bronze medal in the 33rd boys (free style) Junior tiol wrestling Championship held at Kodarma, Jharkhand and represented India in Asian Championship and brought laurel for the country and  the state by winning Bronze medal in 2013.

He won gold at tiol Sub- Junior Wrestling championship and 31st Sub-Junior Boys tiol Wrestling Championship held at Solan, Himachal Pradesh and ger coil, Tamil du respectively.

Dada also participated in the World (free style) Wrestling Championship held at Szombatheli, Hungry in the past.

Meanwhile, AOA Secretary General G Doke while congratulate Dada Riba for making the state proud in the field of wrestling with his wonderful achievement and assured to provide all possible assistance to the wrestler.
