Aruchalee youth bags tiol award

ITAGAR, Feb 8: Aruchalee youth Sangey Dondu of Tawang won the maiden tiol Youth Leadership Award 2016, instituted by the tiol Youth Project (NYP), a voluntary organization set up by Dr SN Subba Rao in 1972 to rehabilitate the dreaded dacoits of Chambal Valley.
Dr Rao, lovingly called Bhaiji, gave away the award to Dondu at Gurgaon-based Kamrah Institute of Information Technology (KIIT) in presence of NYP trustees, its tiol executive committee secretary H P Biswas and more than 500 hundred of NYP’s voluntary workers from 23 states including ministers, MLAs besides from Indonesia on Sunday.
Moreover, NYP selected its Aruchal Pradesh, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh), Calicut (Kerala) and Alipurduar (West Bengal) branches as best training provider, which were awarded by Bhaiji on the occasion.
It may be recalled that the NYP has spread into 64 tions, particularly for its dance-drama Bharat ek santan, ected by Bhaiji in 18 languages to showcase the ‘unity in diversity’ of Bharat. The song in 18 official languages of India is written and sung by Bhaiji, a press release informed.
