Arunachal: MLA flags off National Ambulance Service (NAS) ambulance

ITANAGAR: MLA Techi Kaso on Saturday flagged off an Ambulance under National Ambulance Service (NAS) for UPHC Itafort in presence of Director Health Services Dr. M Lego, JDHS (Plan) Dr. Emi Rumi, DMO Yupia Dr Subu Tasso Kampu, Dr. Kabak Tamar MO i/c Itafort and a host of other officers, staffs of Itafort UPHC etc.

Kaso wished his best to the staff of UPHC and hoped that the ambulance will cater to the needs of the people in need, especially to pregnant women and emergency cases like accidents etc. He further hoped that the ambulance would serve the purpose and would be a great help to the needy patients.

He lauded the team of Itafort which has been upgraded from a dispensary to UPHC and hoped that it will continue working dedicatedly and sincerely for the benefit of the people. He also appreciated them for keeping the Hospital neat and clean. The DMO briefed about the functioning of UPHC Itafort which has all the basic facilities like OPD service, a free lab test for blood sugar, BMI under NCD including CM / PM flagship Programme PMSMA, NDD, MI, IDCF, JSY.
