Arunachal Vikas Parishad organizes Parichay Varg at Government Higher Secondary School Kamba

Itanagar: The West Siang district committee of Arunachal Vikas Parishad organized Parichay Varg at Government Higher Secondary School Kamba from May 14 to 19. Altogether 34 participants from four circles namely Aalo, Bagra, Darak and Kamba took part in the six-day-long camp. Kamki-based Donyi Polo Government College’s principal Dr Rejir Karlo while attending the inaugural day of the training, exhorted the young participants to imbibe the traditional spirit of keeping alive their culture for posterity, an official release informed here on Monday. During the closing ceremony, former minister Lijum Ronya in his deliberation, stressed on maintaining one’s own culture and tradition and lauded the role of AVP for promoting tribal culture and tradition.

AVP state-level committee general secretary Lee Sora along with other dignitaries attended the camp, the release added.
