HOWRAGHAT, February 22: The opposition of the hill district Karbi Anglong, Autonomous State Demand Council (ASDC) on Monday slammed the BJP. The ASDC said that Karbi as well as Dimasa leaders had no moral right to remain in the BJP. The leaders should immediately resign from their respective posts owing moral responsibility. The press note stated that the statehood issue was never referred by State BJP president Sarbanda Sonowal and leader Dr Himanta Sarma in their speeches during meetings.
