Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) to observe ‘World Youth Skills Day’

GUWAHATI, July 13: Commemorating the ‘World Youth Skills Day’, the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) is gearing up to observe a week-long programme highlighting series of agenda across various districts of the state from July 15. The objective is to promote skills and practicing of healthy life among the youths. The occasion will be observed at Baksa, Darrang, Udalguri, Goalpara, Hailakandi, Barpeta and Dhubri throughout the week. On July 15, the programme will be kicked off at Latasil playground in Guwahati by taking out a walkathon. At Moaniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati, the ASDM will distribute the Dakshatra Award for the best-performing training centre, trainer and trainee followed by signing of ASTI MoU, Potential Investor MoU, launching of toll free number and revamped ASDM website and felicitation of India Skill Assam 2018 winners as Skill Idols of Assam.
