After winning the title, Golap told, “I am feeling amazing being in the international stage and competing with the world class bodybuilders. The best is when the foreigners were coming to us for photos and asking our numbers to come to India for training under us.”

“I thank all my well-wishers, family, to the people of Boko, Assam, and India who always inspired me during my bad days.”

“The government never has taken my problems seriously, in fact, I have been neglected by some ministers who led me disappointed. It’s because my family and my well-wishers that kept me motivated to the sports. I love bodybuilding and will continue to do it for my whole life and will try to inspire the upcoming athletes. My next competition is Mr. Universe next month in Thailand for which I still need money for it. I hope to do well there too,” he added.

The World Fitness Federation or WFF is an international bodybuilding organization formed in 1968. The WFF promotes classic or athletic bodybuilding with a focus on the aesthetic quality of the physique as opposed to just muscularity, under which the World Body Building Federation or WBFF operates.
