Assam Cricket Association fixes AGM date on January 12

GUWAHATI: The much awaited Annual General Meeting of the Assam Cricket Association would be held on January 12 in Guwahati. The new committee of the association would also be constituted in the meeting.

The date of the Annual General Meeting is decided in the Governing Body Meeting of the Association which was held in the city today. A source from the ACA said that the new committee would be formed in the forthcoming AGM and if necessary the election would also be held on that day.

The meeting also constituted a five-member committee to scrutinize the accounts related to the ODI which was held during the tenure of current committee. The source also infomrd that England women cricket team are likely to tour India in the 2019 and Guwahati may host a couple of limited over matches of that series.
