Assam Governor congratulates Zeliang on completing two years as CM

Guwahati, May 25: Governor of Assam and galand, P B Acharya congratulated galand Chief Minister, T. R. Zeliang on the completion of two years of the latter’s government. In a letter to Chief Minister, Zeliang, the Governor said, “The Government of galand under your able leadership has completed two years in the service of the State of galand on May 24, 2016 and I take the opportunity to congratulate you and all members of your council of Ministers on this occasion. I also congratulate the other elected members who have been extending cooperation and support to run the Government for the cause of development of the State. People of galand have given a huge mandate and showed confidence in you. So you have greater responsibility to live up to their expectations. You should ensure that there is no difference in opinion among the elected members which will interrupt the development process. The main agenda of our Government should be peace and development and there should be unity of the people and the elected members.” The Governor concluded his letter by saying, “Our unity is the essential part for the success of peace talks.” This was stated in a press release.
