Assam Rifles organizes free medical camp in Silchar

Silchar: A free medical camp was organized by 37 Assam Rifles at Islamabad village in Jiribam District on Friday. Happiness with Health has always been the motto of Kadamtala Bn Assam Rifles.

The camp was held under the Haflong Sector under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East). A team of two doctors and three nursing staff from Kadamtala Bn Assam Rifles along with two doctors and five nursing staff from CHC Jiribam were instrumental in making the event a grand success amongst the local populace. The project was undertaken as an Assam Rifles Civic Action Project.

The locals who had turned up were examined and medicines were provided free of cost. The local populace and village authorities expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles and CHC Jiribam for extending the critical medical support to the village.
