Australian Model thrown out of Museum for Wearing Revealing Dress

Guwahati: An Australian model, Newsha Syeh, who had gone to a famous museum in Paris, the Louvre, is turned back from the door of the museum. Her fault was that she wore a revealing skin-showing dress to the museum as the guard did not tolerate her for a second and made sure that the door is shut on her face.

The heartbroken model, who is quite famous among her Instagram followers for her sultry poses, says that she did not expect that something like this would happen with her in a world-famous museum like the Louvre.

The 25-year-old model with more than 231,000 followers on Instagram is quite famous among her followers for her edgy sense of style. As Newsha was on a trip to Paris and was exploring the tourist attractions of the historically significant site, the world-famous museum of Louvre was on her wish list and accordingly, she went to visit the museum as well. But things turned bitter for the model when in her words, “Yesterday at the Louvre, I was stopped at the entrance by a guard for my outfit.”

She took to Instagram to narrate her story of ‘heartbroken’ wherein she wrote, “He made the most disgusted and horrible gestures and facial expressions, swore at me to cover up, with hate-filled eyes stopped me entering. I was heartbroken because I thought the Louvre enforced this archaic rule. Turns out…it does not.”

The model, upset and humiliated at the rude behaviour of the museum guard, even did a Google search to look for the museum’s dress code and the result she found is that there was no formal dress code in place.

But, as there are particular dress norms on the Louvre’s official website which prohibits guests from wearing swimsuits, entering bare-chested, naked or barefoot, the dress Newsha wore to the museum certainly is conflicting and against the guidelines maintained by the museum authority.

Following the story shared by Newsha in the social media platform, several other people have reacted and responded. One such response reads: “When I visited The Louvre with my sister a few years ago. We wore winter clothes with boots and we got denied entry by security for being ‘Underdressed.’ [sic] They were so rude about it too and cussed us out until we had no choice but to walk away feeling embarrassed.”
