Awareness campaign by Mother Vision at Arunachal Pradesh

AALO, July 29: A day long awareness campaign on various prevailing social and domestic issues was organized by Mother Vision on an invitation by the people of Ruyi village under Kamba Circle on Sunday here. Attending the function Kamba ADC Tamo Koyu and principal of Donyi Polo College Rejir Karlo stressed on the need to organize such awareness campaign on cleanliness, drugs and alcoholism rampant among the younger generation today.

The chairperson of Mothers Vision Jumde Yomgam Gamlin spelt out the activities of the NGO that included counseling in the rehabilitation camp at Aalo.

She disclosed that more awareness campaigns will be launched in various schools of the district and sought the cooperation of all section of the people to make it a people's moment to free the youth from the scourge of drugs.

Social workers for women empowerment from various sectors of Kamba, president of Ruyi Village and GBS pointed out burning issues like construction of toilets along the river side, opening of shops late night, sale of liquor in the ghumtis and sale of diesel & petrol in open market and various other issues in the town.
