Awareness drive on cleanliness by 12th NDRF: Arunachal Pradesh

DOIMUKH: With the objective to spread awareness on cleanliness among the people, a cleanliness drive was conducted by 12th BN NDRF, Doimukh under the command of Deputy Commandant PN Singh at Emchi under Gumto Circle here today.

The drive was participated by 128 personnel from 12th BN NDRF, Gaon Burah along with 30 villagers from Emchi. PN Singh while thanking the villagers for taking initiative said that, merely conducting cleanliness drive is not enough to keep an area clean.The habit of cleanliness in each household has also to be maintained for healthy living, he added. He also informed that the cleanliness drive is a part of programme under 4th anniversary of Swach Bharat Mission (SBM)

Another cleanliness drive was organized at Hollongi market of Arunachal Pradesh under the command of 12th Bn NDRF Inspector Indra Singh Bisht. 18 personnel of D-COYqand locals took part in the drive.
