Awareness meeting on orthopaedic treatment

Dibrugarh, July 11: The Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals organized an awareness meeting on Tuesday at the Apollo Clinic, Paltan Bazar. The meeting aimed at generating consciousness among the public regarding different kinds of treatment, especially Orthopaedics, was attended by Dr. Vibhu Bahl of Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, expert in Orthopaedics, Arthroscopy and Joint Replacement. Addressing the gathering, Bahl informed the people of the benefits they would be deriving out of the Apollo Clinic of Dibrugarh, and assured them that henceforth, a lot of patients would be able to get their maladies treated here itself, instead of flying to other destinations seeking better diagnosis and treatment.

Talking specifically about the facilities available for the orthopaedics patients, he said that the hospital had made arrangements to treat the patients using a high-grade technology that would turn the treatment more successful, and would increase the longevity of the same. He also mentioned that the patients from the region who were already consulting him in Delhi could now save their time and money, and meet him here instead. The doctor confirmed that he would be visiting the Dibrugarh Clinic every month for one day, and at the same time, was hopeful regarding the launch of other speciality treatment sections, including Diabetes and Physiotherapy here.
