Awareness Program on Scheduled Castes Model Village Scheme held in Nalbari,Assam

Nalbari, July 27: The foundation stone laying ceremony and awareness programme of Scheduled Castes Model Village scheme were held on Friday at Jaha village in Nalbari. The programme was organized by Directorate of Welfare of SC, Assam and Assam State Dev. Corp. for SC Ltd. Nalbari MLA Ashok Sarma laid the foundation stone in presence of an august gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, he described various development works proposed for implementation under the SC Model Village Scheme. He also mentioned that after implementation of all works under the convergence plan, the Jaha village will be one of the best model villages in Assam. He requested all the villagers to participate in all programmes and contribute their valuable suggestion to make Jaha a model village.
