Awareness programme on cashless transaction

GORESWAR, Jan 25: An awareness programme on cashless transaction was held at Goreswar Bengali LP School recently in collaboration with several departmental agencies and local banks like SBI, UCO and AGVB. Subheswar th, Branch Mager, Goreswar AGVB Bank, iugurated the awareness programme. In his augural speech he spoke about the benefit of cashless transaction and urged the public to go for cashless transaction without any hesitation. Goutom Deka, senior assistant of  Goreswar Branch,  State Bank of India, took part in the programme and said that mobile phone could become a money bag as one could exchange money with others through a smartphone by using State Bank Buddy app. He also demonstrated the network banking system. Abhijit Borah, head cashier, Goreswar UCO Bank, took part as resource person and explained the different methods of cashless transaction like net banking, Ru-Pay, e-wallet, debit and credit cards.
