AWKSU decries sexual assault on school girl

ITAGAR, Dec 7: The All West Kameng Students’ Union (AWKSU) today strongly condemned the alleged sexual assault on a minor school girl of Govt. Middle School, Jerigaon by the headmaster in-charge of the school last month. The victim is reportedly suffering from mental and physical trauma after the incident, the students union informed, and demanded proper investigation, fair and speedy trial against the alleged accused and early filing of charge-sheet. It also demanded the police to book him under non-bailable section. The Headmaster in-charge of the school Subash Chandra Mishra had allegedly harassed the student sexually at Girls Hostel on November 11.
