AWU organizes cleanliness drive

Vice-Chancellor of Assam Agricultural University Dr. KM Bujarbaruah took part in the cleaning process along with other faculties and students of the university taking a broom in hand.  Registrar, AWU, Krish Gohain and Officer-on-special Duty Dr Swabera Islam also participated in the programme.  The participants took out a procession and shouted slogans to make people of the vicinity aware of cleanliness around their residence. The part of the Rowriah –Jamuguri road from Rowriah to AWU and the university campus were cleaned during the cleanliness drive. Assistant General Mager, BARD, Mayur Bora, participating in the programme said that this drive had been successful in cleaning the area after the Holi celebrations.
