AXX felicitates eminent litterateur Mohim Bora

GAON (HAIBORGAON), July 6: Veteran litterateur, story teller, poet and the former president of Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX), Mohim Bora, on his 93th birth anniversary was felicitated by AXX along with other various organizations of the district at his residence in gaon town. AXX said that veteran litterateur Bora was like the grandfather, the Bhishma of AXX and also the symbol of inspiration for the Assamese community. On the occasion of his 93th birth anniversary, gaon regiol office bearers of AXX felicitated him. A team of office bearers of AXX led by assistant general secretary Padum Rajkhuwa went to his residence in gaon on Wednesday and felicitated him with a gamosa and other accessories. The present president of AXX, Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bora, chief secretary Dr Paramanda Rajbongshi, and former chief secretary of AXX, Prahlad Tasa also wished him over telephone on the occasion of his 93th birth anniversary. Abook titled Sishu Sahitya Samagra by Mohim Bora and published by AXX was also released. The book was officially released by Mohim Bora and Bi Sarma jointly.
