Diphu , April 11: The magistrate of Karbi Anglong has issued a bailable warrant of arrest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after he failed to appear before the court in connection with a defamation case. In December 2016, Kejriwal had questioned the academic degree of Prime Minister rendra Modi saying that beyond Class XII, the academic degrees of Modi are fake. Taking a serious note of his statements, Surya Rongphar, a BJP leader of the district, filed this defamation case in Diphu court. The next date has been fixed on May 8.
