Bandh peaceful in Demow

DEMOW: The 12-hour Assam bandh called by the Tai Ahom Yuba Parishad, Assam (TAYPA) on Saturday in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 and to demand ST status for the six communities was successful in Demow. All business establishments, schools and offices remained closed in Demow. Vehicles did not ply on the road due to which normal life was paralyzed.
