Bard's 90th birth anniversary celebrated

DEMOW, September 8: The 90th birth anniversary of the Bard of the Brahmaputra, Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was celebrated on Thursday by Demow Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP). The lighting of earthen lamps and floral tribute was paid to the portrait of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika by Dipika Kakoty Dowari, president of Thowra Mandal Mahila Morcha. A general meeting was organized where a discussion on the life and works of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was held.
