BAYM Demands Probe into Dekhari Tea Estate Incident

DEMOW: The Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Demow Town Committee expressed serious concern over the incident which took place on October 18 on Maha Navami in Demow Dekhari Tea Estate 7 No Line.

In a press release, BAYM Demow Town Committee stated that under Moran Police Station in Dekhari Tea Estate 7 No Line on October 18, Bhula Praja and his wife Ramani Praja were killed by one Jaggu Praja with a sharp weapon.

BAYM Demow Committee slammed the incident and demanded that the administration should put in place proper security measures so that such incidents are not repeated. Due to an alleged lack of security, the next day Jaggu’s brother was killed. BAYM Demow Town Committee has demanded a proper investigation and strict punishment for the culprits.
