BAYM protests move to include Assam land in galim

From a Correspondent

Golaghat (Dhekial), Oct 26:  The activists of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM) Golaghat district committee burnt the effigy of Prime Minister rendra Modi on Thursday to protest against the agreement to include Assam’s land in building a greater galim.

Talking to media persons, the general secretary of the organization, Mridul Hazarika said that  the rendra Modi-led BJP government had been cheating the people of Assam by giving false assurance. The government has only taken anti-Assamese policy since coming to power.

The Modi government has decided to include 66,000 hectares of Assam in galand in order to build a greater galim. This anti-Assam policy of the government will never be tolerated, BAYM leaders said. They warned the government to immediately withdrawn the decision or will face massive agitation in the coming days.
