Itanagar, May 20: Itanagar-based Himalayan University has bagged the award of Best Private University of North East in recognition of its effort towards imparting quality higher education. The special moment came Himalayan University’s way during the 4th Academic Conclave of Dialogue India, which was conducted by it in association with IIT Delhi’s Design Department at the IIT Delhi premises on Saturday. The VC of the university, Prof SP Singh received the award from Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Krishna Raj. Prof V Ramgopal Rao, Director IIT Delhi and Dr Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE among others graced the occasion, a press release informed here today.
