Bezbaruah-Samagra to be released on March 29

DULIAJAN, March 23:  On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sahityarathi Lakhmith Bezbaruah, Premanda Trust has published 14 volumes of Bezbaruah-Samagra which will be formally released at District Library, Jorhat on March 29.

The book will be released by 12 eminent litterateurs and dignitaries, Dr Satyakum Borthakur, Associate Professor in the Assamese Department, Dibrugarh University and trustee of Premanda Trust, Ajoy Bhatta, at a press meet held at Duliajan Xahitya Xabha Bhavan. The book will be available in the market at the price of Rs 1,600 and if readers book in advance, they will have to pay just Rs 800. At the book release function eminent persolities like Dr.Kandarpa Kumar Deka, former Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Kamal Molla Boozarbaruah, Dr Alok Kumar Buragohain, Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Obiul Hussain, Indeswar Sarmah, Dr Karobi Deka Hazarika, Professor of Assamese Department, Dibrugarh University, Dr Lakhindan Bora, Nitya Borah, Hemanta Barman, Lilawati Saikia Borah, Nirajo Mahanta Bezborah, Bhupen Borpatra Gohain, MD of AGCL, Rongbang Terang, Modan Sarmah, Professor of English Department, Tezpur Central University will be present.

Moreover,   Bezbaruah’s drama Chakradhabjh will also be staged on that day by artistes of Pather.
