‘Bharat ke Veer’ runner reaches Shillong today

Shillong,  April 8: ‘Bharat ke veer’ ultra marathon runner  Samir Singh began his run running on December 1, 2017 from Wagha with the aim to create awareness and to support to the Martyrs - an initiative of Union Ministry of Home Affairs. He has already crossed various States like Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Kartaka, Kerala, Andhra, Odisha and West Bengal.  UK yal, DIG / PRO of BSF Meghalaya Frontier received the runner of Ultra Marathon at Guwahati on April 8 at about 10 in the morning and coordited his event further. He will reach  Shillong on April 9 in the morning and will pay homage to the martyrs at Saheed Smarak at BSF campus, Umpling in the city. This has been stated in a press release.
