Bigg Boss Season 12: 'Vichitra Jodis' Theme

Guwahati: The promo of Bigg Boss season 12, the most awaited reality show of the year, is out last week at the suburban Mumbai studio. It is all set to premiere on September 16 on colors TV. As usual, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be hosting the show. Sources reveal that this time Salman will not only be seen as an actor but also as a teacher, a Government official and a narrator in the upcoming season.

In the promo, Salman Khan has taken a roll call of a class that consists of twin sisters, a saas-bahu jodi, an electrician, a rapper and few others. This time the concept of awesome will be redefined as 'Twosome' with its ultimate theme "Vichitra Jodis". Normally the synonym of jodis is boyfriend-girlfriend or Husband-wife but in this Bigg Boss season, the jodis will be extended to saas-bahu, boss-employee, mama-bhanja etc. So the contestants will enter the house with their partners.

Salman in his usual witty self in the promo, said, 'Iss baar badal jayegi game ki ABCD, jab ayengi vichitra jodis. Bigg Boss Season Baarah, mere sath aa ra, aa ra. aa ra.'

According to sources, this year, the show kick-started a month earlier than its usual time. Salman Khan who is currently hosting 'Dus Ka Dum' had to wrap up his work and took a day off from his tight schedule and completed his commitment to the channel Colors' for Bigg Boss.

The colors' channel CEO Raj Nayav posted the promo on his Twitter handle and wrote, "The wait has come to an end! @BeingSalmanKhan is coming back soon on @BiggBoss season 12 only on @colorstv!
