Bilasipara Raax festival begins

BILASIPARA: November 27:  The 58th Rash Festival of Bilasipara was iugurated on Wednesday by Atonu Sarma, SDO (Civil), Bilasipara. The 16-day festival will come to end on December 10. In this connection an iugural programme was held in the Raax pandal with Alakesh Ranjan Das in the chair. Debabrata Das explained objectives of the meeting while Biplab Choudhury, president of the celebration committee explained the significance of the Raax Lila. Among others the meeting was addressed by Atanu Sarma, SDO (Civil), Bilasipara, Dilip Kumar Barua, SDPO, Bilasipara, Parag Kakati, Election Officer, Bilasipara, Dipesh Das, chairman, Bilasipara Town Committee.
