NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suggested for the NRC-like process to identify and evict Rohingyas and Bangladeshis living illegally in the national Capital. BJP’s Delhi president Manoj Tiwari has demanded the Arvind Kejriwal government should conduct a survey akin to the NRC to identify and evict Rohingyas and Bangladeshis living illegally in the national Capital.

Meanwhile, agencies reported that the West Bengal BJP took out a march in Kolkata on Thursday to demand the publication of a National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Bengal also to drive out “infiltrators from Bangladesh” from the eastern State.

The march from south Kolkata’s Deshapriyo Park to Maidan area was led by state Bharatiya Janata Party President Dilip Ghosh, National Secretary Rahul Sinha, and state General Secretary Sayantan Basu.
