ITAGAR, July 24: Firing a salvo at Aruchal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and Aruchal Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (APCSD) for alleging union MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju of instigating the Jan Andolan Committee (JAC) to stage the July 21 dhar at harlagun, the BJP today termed it as a desperate attempt to divert public attention on corruption.

Reacting to the press statement, party’s spokesman Techi Necha while saying that there was no iota of truth in it, he termed it as a desperate attempt to divert the people’s attention towards the rampant fincial mismagement, corruption, nepotism and favoritism indulged by the ruling Congress government led by Chief Minister bam Tuki.

“The press statement of the APCC and APCSD exposed before the public their ploy to hide the misdeeds by criticising democratically launched peaceful dhar by the BJP. The BJP always upholds the democratic principle and values being the largest political party,” he said.

The party also criticized the Congress for launching an individual attack on the JAC Chairman by alleging that he organized the dhar on Rijiju’s dictate.

“The allegations of APCC and APCSD on BJP are figments of imagition to hide their prolonged of the Congress government in the State. The BJP believes in democratic principles and is always ready to address the people grievances through peaceful and democratic means,” Necha said.

Stongly denouncing the low mental set up of the APCC and APCSD leaders, the BJP advised them to refrain from issuing provocative press statement, which is uncalled and irrelevant and would jeopardized vibrant growth of democracy in the State.
