BJP President Amit Shah To Arrive in Lakhimpur Today

LAKHIMPUR: The National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Amit Shah will arrive in Lakhimpur on Sunday. He will take part in the Maha Yuva Samabesh (mega youth convention) to be held in the Saboti Stadium near North Lakhimpur town under the aegis of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Marcha (BJYM), Assam Pradesh Committee.

Shah will address as many as 1 lakh youth activists of the youth wing of the BJP, in addition to party workers covering the legislative assembly constituencies of Lakhimpur and Tezpur parliamentary constituencies. Besides him, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, State BJP president Ranjit Das, BJYM national president Poonam Mahajan, State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary and other ministers, BJP MPs and MLAs will take part in the mega youth convention, which has been organized in order to strengthen BJP’s organizational base in view of the upcoming general election.

The organizers have already completed all kind of arrangements for the smooth conduct of the event. The Lakhimpur district administration has also initiated due steps.
