BJP releases its first list of candidates for Lok Sabha Elections, 2019

Guwahati: The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday had announced its first list of Lok Sabha Candidates for the first and second phases of polling in New Delhi.

In a press statement, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Parliamentary Board Secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda, released the names of the first 184 candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the ensuing Lok Sabha election.

It is to be noted that among the first 184 candidates, BJP declared eight candidates name from Assam in the first list.

The names of the following candidates are as follows:

The Central Election Committee of the BJP party is yet to declare the names of candidates from Tezpur and Nagaon Constituencies.

The declaration of the names of the first list of candidates was made after a party meeting held under the Presidentship of Amit Shah on 16th, 19th & 20th March 2019.

It may be mentioned that the meeting was attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance and Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs and all other members of the Central Election Committee of the BJP.
