BJP state president Ranjeet Dass visits Tamulpur, consoled martyred soldier’s family members

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president, Ranjeet Dass on Friday visited the residence of martyred jawan from Assam Maneshwar Basumatary in Tamulpur under Baksa District to console the family members.

It may be mentioned that jawan Maneshwar Basumatary was the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawan from Assam died in a terror attack at Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday where at least 42 jawans have been martyred living five others injured.

Earlier, the nephew Kamal Boro stated that it has been a very sad incident where more than 37 jawans have been martyred. “I appealed to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to take stern action against the terrorist groups who are repeatedly engaged in such kind of cowardly act against our nation. The central government had earlier promised that the issue of counter-terrorism in the nation by Pakistan would be solved but till date, no such problems have been solved. I appealed to the government to take necessary steps against this attack so that life of the martyred jawans doesn’t go in vain,” said Kamal Bodo to The Sentinel Digital.

The nephew also appealed the Government of India and Government of Assam that the son and daughter of the martyred soldier Maneshwar Basumatary should be provided Government jobs so that the family could earn their livelihood.
