BJP unit of Nagaland meets Vajpayee

KOHIMA, April, 26: The Nagaland unit of BJP delegation, led by Secretary Organisation Ananta Mishra and BJP legislators compromising Minister for Higher Technical and Higher education Temjen Imna Along, Adviser for Power Tovihoto Ayemi and host of party workers from the State, called upon former Prime Minister Atal Bihari  Vajpayee,  recipient of Bharat Ratna and the first National  BJP President, on Thursday at his official residence in New Delhi.
 Interacting with the former Prime Minister, the State delegation thanked him for his contributions towards the State during the first NDA era.
On behalf of the former Prime Minister,  the adopted daughter of Vajpayee Namita Bhattacharjee  impressed upon the visiting delegation that the much awaited four-lane Dimapur-Kohima  road,  which was announced during the first NDA-era, be completed on time at least during the  life time of  Vajpayeeji,  which would remain  a mile stone achievement  for the region. This was stated in a press release.
