Body of girl recovered, youth picked up

GAON (HAIBORGAON), Feb 15:  Sensation prevailed in gaon town following recovery of the body of a Class X girl student on Tuesday morning from a pond nearby Haiborgaon- Rupahihat railway track at gaon town Mazarati village.  According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Sibani Bora of Mazarati village. The sources added that the girl had been missing since February 13 and the family lodged an FIR in Haiborgaon TOP on February 14. The villagers of Mazarati suspect it to be murder. The police have picked up a local youth med Bhupen Bordoli. The villagers alleged that the youth tried to woo her couple of days ago but the deceased refused to accept his proposal and as a consequence, the youth out of anger perhaps kidpped her and later killed her.
